Bike Lane
Evelyn was converted from two lanes of traffic in either direction to one lane in either direction, a central turn lane, and bike lanes in either direction. This has made my commute a lot more straightforward. I haven't seen an adverse effect on automobile traffic (I drive the road as well as bike it).

Window
I took almost no photos at Camp Swing this weekend because I was too busy, or it was too wet to carry my camera around. This photo was taken in the quiet moments before the first class on Friday afternoon. I don't know the woman sitting down; the one on the left is a fantastic Balboa teacher from Auburn.

Late Night
We were only at Boogie by the Bay for one day, but we were there all day. Erin took 7 workshops from 9am until 5:30pm, then we watched some competitions and showcases, and danced. Erin even danced in a Balboa competition. By 1am I called it quits, but the party was still going strong.
This is a composite photo. The sign was posted outside the main ballroom, but the dancers are in the Lindy room.

Egg McMuffin
Hi, what comes with the Egg McMuffin? Can I get fresh fruit instead of the hash browns? Maybe some fresh figs, grapes, and honeydew? How about sourdough toast instead of an English muffin? No? Okay, can you just leave off the muffin then? Oh, and the eggs, how are they cooked? Could I get those poached?

Placerville Bell Tower
My earliest memory of Placerville was one July many years ago my way back from the Sierras where I had gone camping for the first time in my life, encountered a bear for the first time in my life, and rode three passes of the Markleeville Death Ride. My companions included a college professor; a probation officer; professional photographer; and a grad student.
