Drop bars

The latest incarnation -- yet again -- of my ancient Miyata Triplecross hybrid. A new Tange Passage headset allowed me to move the brake cable hanger and use a nitto road stem, which allowed me to run the drop bars.

Handling is typical of a touring bike. Not particularly exciting, but manageable.

I am building up a bike with a Miyata Triplecross frame that looks just like your bike. How did you attach the downtube-mounted shift levers?

I bought some vintage Suntour clamp-on downtube shifters. They clear the downtube braze-ons just fine.
