Beer Friday

Last Friday of the month, Devil's Canyon Brewery in Belmont (formerly known as Devil's Canyon) opens its doors to the public, hosts a live band, and has food and drink available for purchase. Last night the place was shoulder-to-shoulder crowded. The band played cover tunes from the 80s. The food was onion rings and pot stickers. And the beer was fabulous.

Devil's Canyon beer is found in restaurants on the penninsula, about as far north as Daly City and as far south as Palo Alto. There are a few spots in Sunnyvale and San Jose, and a few
places in San Francisco.

Their flagship beers are the Full Boar scotch ale, and the Diabla lager. Last night we also had their IPA and their amber ale. Most restaurants that serve Devil's Canyon only carry one or two types of their beer, so the Beer Friday is the best place to sample the different varieties.
